Debbie and Nigel, the incredibly welcoming hosts, infused warmth and personal touches throughout our visit, from the charming room with views of the cricket pitch to the delightful homemade marmalade that made breakfast unforgettable. The shared lounge, with its cozy fireplace and lovely views, provided the perfect ambiance for leisurely chats after a day exploring the stunning local walks. My partner and I felt so at home with all the thoughtful amenities, including Egyptian cotton sheets and the option of Tempur pillows for that blissful night's sleep we always crave during our travels. The location was an ideal base for our adventures in Somerset—just a short stroll to two local pubs, one with stunning views over the lake, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. This quaint B&B is definitely high on my list of recommendations for anyone looking to reconnect with nature while indulging in some comfort and local charm!
